About the Double Rotor Shredder (T Series)
The SLECOTECH Double Rotor Shredder (T Series) uses two counter-rotating rotors to tear through high-volume, low-density materials at high throughput. With no screen, it excels at pre-shredding voluminous waste into a manageable, consistent feed for downstream granulators or digesters.

What is a double rotor shredder used for?
It pre-shreds high-volume, often bulky or stringy waste – MSW, cardboard, green waste, light plastics – into a consistent coarse fraction for further processing.
Does the T Series have a screen?
No. The screen-less design is deliberate: it maximises throughput and prevents wrapping from film, fibre and wire, at the cost of a coarser, less uniform output.
What comes after a double rotor shredder?
Typically a granulator, washer or densifier. The T Series produces the coarse pre-shred; secondary machines refine particle size and clean the material.
How does it handle jamming?
The control system reverses the rotors on overload to clear obstructions automatically, then resumes forward rotation – minimising manual intervention.
